There was no shortage of swell action for guests at Pinnacles on Telo this week.
We had four couples from Portugal come out to Pinnacles for a friends’ reunion of sorts, as well as a terrific family from Adelaide: Rob, Patricia and their boys Xavier and Uberto.
Flying solo, but excellent company, was Alex – coincidentally also from Portugal – who’s doing back to back trips.
We were greeted with one of the bigger swells we’ve had this year, and with light winds out of a certain direction there was one place on our mind – Le Ba AKA ‘The Trip Maker’ – and it lived up to its reputation. When its on, Le Ba is the kind of wave you never forget.
Between all the amazing waves on offer, we made sure to keep the non-surfing partners happy with activities such as snorkelling, stand-up paddle boarding and the famous telo motorbike tour.
We also got to surf Max’s right, Pinnacles, Kindies and Schoolyards.
It’s safe to say it was an amazing experience for everyone, with big smiles all around and a few new words of Portuguese under our belt… nos veremos novamente amigos! (See you again, friends!)
