Swell When There Is No Swell

Over the last week Huey has decided to give our guests a run of decent size waves, session after session here at Telo Island Lodge — when the forecast really didn’t look that promising at the beginning of the week. That really is the beauty of the Telo Islands, when your expectations are down, somehow the Telos just keeps on giving.

This week northerly winds have been pretty predominant with the odd shower in between, but the sun is back after quite a lot of rain over the last two weeks (The wet season was in full swing). As I said, Huey has been pretty good to our guests, we started off with two full days of pumping 3-4 foot Max’s Right leaving everyone pretty stoked. The Bubble, Kindies and a couple of other spots have also had a few memorable sessions so far.

The next few days the swell is going to be hanging around the 2-3 foot mark with winds varying from all directions. What’s got everyone talking is the 6 foot plus swell arriving on the last two days. Hopefully Huey will keep on delivering.
