The Telo Islands have been throwing up a lot of options for our guests here at Telo Island Lodge. We’ve had a consistent run of swell over the last week ranging with two to four feet of height. We started off with a strong SE wind that has changed over to a north/northwest yesterday, it has given our guests many options to try surf a different wave nearly each day so far.
Max’s Left started off this week with its flawless walls rolling down our island of Sibaranun, giving our guests the perfect warm up to start their trip. Since the north/westerly wind started blowing, we’ve had the chance to head off to Le Ba, Pinnacles and The Bubble for some standout sessions. Apart from surfing, our guests have had the chance to stroll around our island on low tide, meeting the villagers and making new friends along the way.
We ventured over to Pinnacles on Telo one evening, our other Pegasus Lodges resort here in the Telo Islands. We had a tour of the new resort, bonfire and a lovely Spanish Mackerel cooked over the fire. Everyone was quite blown away by how such a stunning five-star resort could be built right here in the Telo Islands.
The swell charts over the next week are keeping everyone talking, Sunday through to Monday should be in the four to five feet range. GTs and a few other west swell options were talked about over lunch. It looks like everything is possible next week…
