Bintangs and Barrels

The Telo Islands have really been producing the goods. August has been delivering some epic swells, and it doesn’t seem to want to slow down anytime soon. If it’s a sign of what is going to happen for the rest of the year, then I don’t believe there is a better place you could be in the world than here at Telo Island Lodge.

With Trip 23 done and dusted, it’s fair to say we have had a pretty good time. The waves have been firing for the last ten days; there have been some solid sessions at GT’s, Max’s Left and Pinnacles which will be remembered with our outgoing guests for a long time. It’s hard not to smile when you see friends and family trading stand up barrels, Bintangs and stories for hours on end.

The swell right now is building with some nice sets starting to roll through Max’s Right with a nice offshore breeze. A nice south swell should fill in by tomorrow morning which our new guests should hopefully wake up to — another day of perfect waves here at Telo Island Lodge.
