A Giant Swell Forecasted

The forecast for trip 22 does not look to be for the faint-hearted. Since the guests arrived here at the lodge, it’s been the main talking point with no doubt—the biggest swell of the year supposed to arrive on the 27th. Not one day forecasted for the remainder 8 days is supposed to drop below the 5-6 foot range, with the peak of the swell supposed to hit the 8+ range. Although the guests did have a nice couple of warm-up sessions at The Left, which has been the standout and most consistent over the last two days with the southeast winds prevailing. They have also had a small taste of out the front with Scotchy doing the rounds in and out of the lagoon, super fun Bubble and one afternoon session at sizeable Kindys. They have not been disappointed so far, and no doubt there are going to be some very sore bodies here at the lodge after the next 10 days.

With the swell picking up ever so much with each session we have had, the guests are going to be ready by the time the swell rolls into the Telo Islands over the next few days. Watch this space!
